Village Church Celebrates Its New Home

Despite the sub-zero temperatures and a recent blizzard, more than 500 people attended the opening Dedication Service as Village Church began its new ministry in Dyer on Sunday, February 3rd. Guest speakers for the event included Evangelical Free Church Regional Directors Bill Reed and Ivan York. Along with our own praise band, renowned pianist Huntley Brown also participated in our celebration. At one point in the service, Huntley Brown provided a musical background to the video overview of the entire building program. That video presentation can be seen by clicking here. A collection of pictorial highlights from the morning can also be seen by clicking here. For more than 125 years Village Church has enjoyed a rich heritage of faith; and as a member of the Evangelical Free Church of America, we're also part of a great association of faith. As we move from South Holland to Dyer, we're looking forward to sharing that faith with a new community at this beautiful location that God has given us. Thank you to all who have helped make this move possible and to all who have encouraged us in the process of our relocation. Now, Village Church is committed to being a source of great spiritual encouragement to all who attend as we fulfill our mission of helping people find their way back to God and bringing them to maturity in Christ. For more information about the ministry of Village Church, browse our website or give us a call. We'd be glad to share more about our family ministry, our variety of worship styles, or how you can be part of something great that God is doing in our community.
